Doses:
Adults and Adolescents (13 years and older):
- Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis: 250 mg twice daily for 5-10 days
- Acute bacterial maxillary sinusitis: 250 mg twice daily for 10 days
- Acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis: 250-500 mg twice daily for 10 days
- Uncomplicated skin infections: 250-500 mg twice daily for 10 days
- Uncomplicated urinary tract infections: 250 mg twice daily for 7-10 days
- Gonorrhea: 1000 mg as a single dose
- Early Lyme disease: 500 mg twice daily for 20 days
Pediatric Patients (3 months to 12 years):
- Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis: 20 mg/kg/day in two divided doses for 5-10 days
- Acute otitis media: 30 mg/kg/day in two divided doses for 10 days
- Acute bacterial maxillary sinusitis: 30 mg/kg/day in two divided doses for 10 days
- Impetigo: 30 mg/kg/day in two divided doses for 10 days

How to Use
Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food but should be taken at a fixed time for better efficacy. Do not exceed the recommended dose and complete the full course of treatment.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Avoid use in the first trimester of pregnancy unless necessary. Cefuroxime-clavulanic acid can be used to treat infections during later stages of pregnancy. Small amounts are excreted in breast milk; use with caution in breastfeeding mothers.

- Use with caution in patients with a history of colitis or those taking powerful diuretics.
